In addition to historic education, our museum has also worked with the county of Los Angeles to give workplace experience in auto painting and body since 1978. Over 280 boys and girls from ages 14-21 have gone through our summer program.
The museum participates in several community veteran and living history events. Through this the museum is educating the public of our great military history in these United States.
A Letter from the Owner
The
American Society of Military History was incorporated in California in
1962 as a California Non-Profit Educational Organization.
The purpose of the Society is to perpetuate our great American Military Heritage and to restore and preserve its equipment.
The
exhibits you are about to see are either restored or waiting to be
restored. These exhibits were used by the Army, Navy, Marines and Air
Force.
We have no governmental financial assistance. All restoration is done by our membership and volunteers.
If you have the skills and the time, join us and volunteer.
Thank you for supporting our Society and Museum through your donations.
