Office and Shop Hours: Tuesday through Friday from 8:00AM-4:00PM

The museum is open for self-guided tours Friday through Sunday only from 10:00AM to 4:30PM

Group and school tours can be arranged at least a week ahead of time by calling during office hours.  They are available Thursdays and Fridays by appointment only from 10:00AM to 3:30PM.

If you have any other appointments you desire, such as photo shoots, equipment rental, vehicle rental, or any other questions please feel free to call during office hours. 

The museum is all outdoors and therefore will be closed on rainy days

Adults - $5.00
Veterans & Seniors - $4.00
Juniors (10-16 yrs.) - $3.00
Children (5-9 yrs.) - $1.00
Children under 5 - FREE

Location
The museum is located at 1918 Rosemead Blvd. in the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in South El Monte. It is just North of the 60 freeway near the intersection of Rush St. and Rosemead Blvd. FREE parking is provided.  Please note not to turn into the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area, but to continue down the road to the drive way.

Tours
Tours are self-guided tours.  We have an informational booklet that you can walk around with to view the exhibits.  Though there are no tour-guides, questions are always accepted and in fact encouraged.  We offer booklets in English, Spanish Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean. We currently have a Vietnamese booklet in the process of being made

Special Events
Hold your next birthday party or special event at the American Military Museum! 

We also hold parties for adults and often have vehicle clubs come visit the museum.
